After ten years as a Graphic Designer for political campaigns, non-profit organizations and commercial enterprise, Marcus Sanford is changing careers to photography. He will graduate from the Austin Community College Photography program with a focus in Advertising & Fashion in May, 2011.
His past work has earned “Best of Austin” awards from the Austin Chronicle twice: once in 2003 for efforts at community organization Liveable City (Best Activist Group Performance) and again in 2007 for helping to start Austin CarShare, Austin’s first carsharing service (Best Eco Improvement).
Marcus is a member of the American Society of Media Photographers (ASMP) and Professional Photographers of America (PPA).
